choose your pleat style

A pleat style can dramatically change the overall look of your curtain as well as the mood that you are trying to create for the room.

SINGLE PLEAT

A sophisticated pleat that looks exceptional in striped or patterned fabrics. This style allows for compact stacking, ideal when wall space is limited.

DOUBLE PLEAT / DOUBLE TRACK

A classic double pleat adds fullness and softness. A double track allows you to hang a sheer curtain for daytime privacy and a lining curtain on the back for insulation and night-time privacy.

TRIPLE PLEAT

Triple pleat is a traditional pleat with generous fullness. Perfect for sheers and/or light-weight curtains.

INVERTED PLEAT

A modern, contemporary pleat, ideal for plain or textured fabrics. For optimal stacking, hang under a rod.

PENCIL PLEAT

For smart yet casual style, pencil pleat is an affordable option to hang on a track or a rod.

S-WAVE PLEAT

A simple, elegant pleat style which has a unique tape on the back, which hooks onto a specialised track. This pleat requires generous stacking space.

EYELET CURTAIN

This design creates soft pleats with a beautiful sense of drape – these fold more naturally without creating creases in your curtains.

Choose Your Floor Finish

How your curtains drape on the floor can make a significant impact on the overall look and the insulation properties.

1. JUST ON THE FLOOR

Also known as kissing the floor, the curtains end just before they hit the floor (approx 5mm above the floor).

This finish is our standard installation unless otherwise specified.

2. TOUCHING THE FLOOR

Curtains have a very slight spill of fabric touching the floor, creating a more tailored look.

3. BREAKING OR LEANING ON THE FLOOR

Curtains have a very slight spill of fabric touching the floor and creates a more relaxed look. Ideal for polyester fabrics that are soft and floaty.

4. PUDDLING

This option has a minimum of 50mm finish and is recommended for linens as this natural fibre can shrink and expand throughout the seasons.
